As a Senior Radiographer at our Highgate Hospital, you’ll have a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), a postgraduate qualification and be competent on both CT and MRI with some extension to Core Services. Ideally, you’ll also have Radiation Protection Supervisor training and qualification, as well as the ability to work accurately and compassionately.

As a Senior Radiographer, you will:

See each patient as an individual, offering understanding and empathy
Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload – in the department, on the ward and in theatre
Work with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment and facilities
Carry out scoping to develop policies and procedures
Supervise and develop junior colleagues
Ensure a service of the highest quality is delivered with sensitivity and compassion

Our services and treatments

Following a £15 million redevelopment and expansion programme, we offer a wide range of healthcare services. These include:

We can care for you, from your initial appointment with a consultant and diagnostic tests, through to surgical treatment and rehabilitation. There are minimal waiting times for tests and treatment.

Our expert team

Highgate Private Hospital works with over 150 consultants and other specialists in London. Many of these healthcare professionals also work in the NHS and are leaders in their field. We employ more than 100 hospital staff, including highly experienced nurses. All of our nurses are registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. Our dedicated team make sure that you get the best possible care and treatment.
