We are seeking to build a talent pool of highly experienced music practitioners and educators to join LIPA as Visiting Professionals across a range of music specialities. These roles support the delivery of teaching, learning and assessment across undergraduate and postgraduate provision and contribute to a dynamic, inclusive and industry-informed learning environment.
Visiting Professionals at LIPA bring current professional practice into the classroom, studio and rehearsal space, supporting students to develop creative, critical and professional skills aligned with contemporary music industries.

Staff clinician in Exotics Species and Small Mammal Medicine and Surgery (Fixed Term – 6 months)
We are pleased to offer an exciting 6-month opportunity for a Staff Clinician in Exotic Species and Small Mammal Medicine and Surgery, starting July 2026. The successful candidate will join our dynamic Exotics team, primarily based at the Beaumont Sainsbury Animal Hospital on our Camden campus, with occasional duties at the Queen Mother Hospital for Animals at our Hawkshead campus.
This position is ideal for a clinician with strong experience in managing a wide range of exotic pets and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching final-year veterinary students during their Exotics rotation. The role also includes participation in the out-of-hours emergency rota.
The Beaumont Sainsbury Animal Hospital is the first opinion small animal teaching hospital with a specialist exotics referral service for the Royal Veterinary College. You will enjoy a role providing high quality, patient focussed care by assisting with day-to-day hospital management planning, alongside the clinicians, residents, interns and students to ensure continued clinical care standards are met. Family Action delivers a wide range of projects for victims/survivors of domestic abuse. This is an exciting opportunity to join the new Adult and Children counselling team specialising in counselling survivors of domestic abuse, with a trauma-informed approach. The contract is based in North Somerset working with all people within the community.
Main responsibilities
The Play Therapist will deliver trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate play and creative therapy to children from birth, children and young people, and young adults up to 25 with additional needs, referred by partner agencies for those impacted by domestic abuse. The role focuses on early intervention, attachment, emotional wellbeing, recovery and resilience, working closely with parents/carers and multi-agency professionals.
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about addressing violence against girls and women and are committed to intersectional work. Our play therapists should excel in managing clinical risks, conducting assessments, and handling confidential information with sensitivity.There will be 3 hours per month of paid clinical supervision plus line management supervision with the Clinical Service Manager.
Main Requirements (for details check the job description and person specification):
• You will be a qualified and registered Play Therapist with experience of working with infants, children and young people, including those with additional or complex needs.
• You will be confident working with families affected by domestic abuse, able to build safe therapeutic relationships, manage clinical risk and contribute positively to a trauma-informed service.
• You will be client-centred, reflective in practice and committed to equality of access, dignity and inclusion for all service users.
• You will be an accredited by BAPT or PTUK.
• You will bring experience of managing complex interventions and service models focused on trauma and promoting resilience.
• The post holder should be committed to continued professional development and have an exceptional knowledge of underpinning theories of practice models and interventions and their application.
• You will have a strong track record in quality, performance, and safeguarding. With a client-facing approach, you will be passionate about engaging our service users in all aspects of our work including co-production.
• This role will be office-based in North Somerset with travel across the area and potentially include one evening and weekend shift per week.

About the role

As the IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will look after the organisation’s IT systems every day. This includes both on‑premise systems and cloud‑based systems. You will also handle advanced technical support when issues are escalated.

IT Director
Are you an experienced CIO / CDIO who loves dogs and is searching for a purposeful role, leading a brilliant team to deliver huge impact for dog welfare?
We are recruiting for an IT Director (CIO/CDIO) to lead the next phase of our IT transformation to unlock the capability of the brilliant technology stack we’ve put in place – Salesforce, Informatica, Snowflake, etc, and to take responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of all Dogs Trust technology. As we implement our new strategy, technology is a critical enabler for us to deliver our services to dogs and their humans.
This role reports into our deputy CEO, so is not a member of the Executive Team, but will be the trusted advisor to the Executive Team and our Board of Trustees on all technology matters. They will be an instrumental part of the Director leadership team who are responsible for all functional departments across the organisation.
What does this role do?
As IT Director (CDIO/CIO), you’ll:
- Develop, lead and continually refine Dogs Trust technology development strategy, ensuring it remains aligned to organisational goals and will continue to deliver digital priorities and ongoing transformation - leveraging technology to deliver greater impact.
- Lead, develop, manage and coach the IT senior team, and through them the wider directorate, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and inclusion.
- Lead the establishment and maintenance of robust enterprise architecture principles and procedures to ensure coherence, scalability and sustainability of systems and data.
- Lead the design, development and continuous improvement of digital platforms, applications and services, ensuring seamless integration into back-end technology and excellent user experience for staff, volunteers, supporters, customers and optimal outcomes for dogs and their owners.
- Oversee IT project and programme management, ensuring dependencies are managed and initiatives are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.
- Lead and support all Heads of Department to effectively deliver all aspects of the strategy. Maintain oversight of each activity, maximising excellence and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practice. This will include making best use of data to support decision making and ensuring maximum impact of activities.
- Ensure heads of department have the appropriate resources to deliver the development strategy, including key areas such as cyber security, and all risks are appropriately managed through policies, procedures and controls.
- Drive service excellence through clear SLAs, performance monitoring and continuous service improvement.
- Set, own and manage the technology budget, ensuring effective financial planning, cost control and value for money in infrastructure and consumables. This will include leading and managing key relationships with suppliers and strategic partners, maximising the value and effectiveness of contracts and the resilience of the relationships.
- Contribute to the development of a shared approach to activities across the DCEO division and play an active role in the wider organisation senior leadership team, contributing to organisational strategy, and cross functional planning and delivery.
- Ensure strong governance, documentation and reporting across all technology domains.

To be successful in this busy role you’ll have experience in a similar position, with demonstrable working knowledge of technology transformation and enhancing customer service, through a deep understanding of the organisations’ operational needs. You’ll have experience of the technology and platforms we have put in place and know how to get the best out of our investment, whilst staying true to our values.

In this role you will be responsible for co-ordinating WomenCentre Kirklees’s counselling offer, including our low-cost and private practice counselling services in Kirklees. The post holder will work closely with the Counselling Administrator, the Counselling team and will engage and support student counsellors. The role also includes initial assessment of new clients and allocations and group supervision.
The post is part of the wider WomenCentre team in Kirklees.
WomenCentre is an organisation that promotes safeguarding practice across all our service delivery and staff and volunteer recruitment.

Bradford and Airedale Citizens Advice & Law Centre are a leading provider of legal advice and information, supporting thousands of clients every year. We are a busy, client focused and dynamic service with a track record of delivering high quality advice. This is a central role within the organisation. As a Client Services Officer, you will be friendly and welcoming. You will be the first point of contact for clients, and external stakeholders accessing the service via any channel (face to face, telephone and digital). This can be a challenging but rewarding role with plenty of contact with our clients, volunteers and paid staff. Our Client Services Officer team play a crucial role in the day to day running of our service. You will provide cover for our busy reception area, support clients who attend our drop-in sessions and process referrals which are received into the service. The post holder will be able to manage a demanding and varied workload, demonstrate confidence, flexibility and an overall can-do approach to tasks.
• We are interested to hear from people who ideally have experience of working within a similar client focused environment, where confidentiality is essential and are confident in dealing with clients who may be vulnerable or have multiple needs.
• The successful candidate will be supported through their on-the-job initial training period and encouraged to continually develop during their time with us.
