Job Introduction
Tate is seeking to engage an experienced curator or scholar with an in-depth knowledge of modern and contemporary art based in North America. While a key member of Tate Modern, their primary reporting line will be to the Director of Collections and Director, Tate Americas Foundation. They will also work closely with curatorial colleagues from across Tate.
The Britton Family Curator at Large, North American Art will be expected to surface artists previously overlooked by the canon, with an emphasis on greater inclusion and diversity - key to Tate’s collecting strategy. They will play a leading role in the development of Tate's collection through its acquisitions, gifts and bequests. They will also participate in projects, to include relevant collection displays and exhibitions, contributing to the presentation and interpretation of artworks across Tate sites.
A track record of publication and research, an established network of contacts and an understanding of the issues surrounding collecting modern and contemporary art for museums are expected. You will also be a first-class communicator who can write for a variety of audiences.

This contract is offered on a three-year fixed term freelance contract. The time spent on the work is flexible and discretionary, however the institution expects the Curator at Large to devote the equivalent to 21.6 hours per week to fulfil their obligations under the contract. We are looking for a Housing Mobile Night Worker to provide floating support across our high‑support and medium‑support 24‑hour supported housing services, as well as our transitional housing units. You will play a key role in ensuring our properties remain safe, secure, and welcoming throughout the night.
Our services provide 24‑hour supported housing for young people aged 16–25, offering both high and medium levels of housing‑related support, alongside transitional housing units. We take a trauma‑informed and psychologically informed approach, supporting residents to build essential life skills, identify personal goals, and work towards their aspirations, enabling them to move on to fully independent living.
In delivering this role, you will be based at Lansworth House in Hove, where you will support the static night worker during the night, alongside undertaking mobile duties across Brighton, Hove, and Worthing.
While working on site, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure service by keeping accurate records of night‑time activity within the building. You will carry out regular building checks, monitor CCTV, and ensure health and safety requirements are met in line with the organisation’s policies and procedures.
You will work proactively to prevent anti‑social behaviour from impacting neighbours and other residents and collaborate closely with support staff to promote resident wellbeing. This will include completing one‑to‑one interventions with young people who may be experiencing a mental health crisis and/or require medical assistance.
This role involves lone working, so you will need to be confident in decision‑making and in following procedures. However, before joining the rota, you will have the opportunity to get to know the team and services, take part in a full induction, complete the required training, and undertake shadow shifts to ensure you feel confident, supported, and well prepared.

Landmark is looking for either Level 5 qualified individuals for learners with dyslexia, specific learning difficulties or barriers to learning to support the inclusion team or TESOL, TEFL or CELTA qualified individuals to work with students who have arrived in the UK with little knowledge of the English language.
Specialist teachers at Landmark carry out an individualised programme of support, in a 1:1 setting, to meet the specific needs of the students in both literacy and numeracy. EAL teachers at Landmark support students in a 1:1 or small group setting.

About the Role
Acorns Children's Hospice are a children's charity, offering specialist palliative nursing care and support for local children and their families. Every year, we support over 750 children and nearly 1,000 families, including those who are bereaved. We have a network of charity shops across the West Midlands and Gloucestershire, which help to provide the funding that we need to provide this care.
As Deputy Community Shop Manager, you will:
- Support the Shop Manager to create an exciting shop floor experience that makes Acorns stand out from our competitors
