We have an opportunity for a Primary education specialist to join our team as a Senior Lecturer in Primary Initial Teacher Education.
The role involves contributing to our well established undergraduate and postgraduate teacher training routes and helping to lead the continuous development of our Primary initial teacher education provision delivered through our partnership.

Atholl Estates is run on a commercial basis, but with a strong element of corporate, social and environmental responsibility. The core businesses are tourism, farming, forestry, house lettings, hydro energy, conservation, field sports and property development. The role of caretaker groundsman offers an interesting and rewarding opportunity to work within a forward-looking organisation in a beautiful part of Scotland, within the Cairngorms National Park but conveniently connected to national transport systems by rail and road, only being a 90-minute drive from Edinburgh and Inverness. The Role This is a front facing role with many of the key priorities linked to being an effective custodian of our amazing Castle, gardens and grounds. The General Secretary serves the Union by offering spiritual leadership within the context of the Word and prayer. The General Secretary is the leader of Baptists Together, both internally in supporting, guiding and encouraging our Associations, Colleges and Churches in mission, and also externally in representing our Union in the UK and abroad, in both Christian and secular settings.
In exercising spiritual leadership our General Secretary seeks to model a prayerful dependence on God and enable our movement to be attentive to the Lord’s leading so that we can keep in step with the Holy Spirit.
Working closely with Council, Trustees, the Core Leadership Team and others across Baptists Together, the General Secretary encourages and enables us to discern, shape and develop our collaboration to fulfil our common purpose of growing healthy churches in relationship for God’s mission. The General Secretary also has overall responsibility for the effective implementation and delivery of the broad strategic direction discerned by Council together with the strategy and effective operation of the Specialist Teams.
The General Secretary has overall responsibility to communicate the vision, values, priorities and policies of the Union’s Council within the Baptist family and, with others, to represent them externally with Baptist and ecumenical bodies, government media and other agencies.

Right now, we are looking for a Resettlement Worker to play a pivotal role in our Homelessness Service in Windsor.
Sounds great, what will I be doing?
The main purpose of this role is to support rough sleepers on the RBWM housing pathway. The resettlement team help service users to maintain their tenancies and remove the risk of homelessness.
You will be responsible for developing, supporting and maintaining independent living skills and general wellbeing for 25 service users within the Support Service

You'll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires as well as match our values and mission. You don't have to tick all the boxes right away; the important thing is that you're willing to learn. We also value lived experience of the areas we support, so if you feel comfortable, please do mention this on your application.

You should have a strong understanding of the issues faced by individuals at risk of homelessness and the skills to support them in maintaining their tenancies. You will have experience working with people with a range of mental health conditions, including dual diagnosis, and demonstrate the ability to communicate with empathy, dignity, and respect. A solid understanding of safeguarding and how to respond appropriately is essential.
Experience working with individuals who have experienced homelessness, rough sleeping, or temporary accommodation is required, particularly those with complex needs such as substance use, mental health issues, and offending histories. The candidate should be familiar with recovery principles and approaches, and committed to empowering service users to make informed choices and work toward independence.
You must be able to work both independently and as part of a team, including supporting the induction of peer staff and volunteers. An awareness of lone working and health and safety practices is important, alongside motivation to uphold professional standards and use management and peer support to maintain resilience. Good IT, literacy, and numeracy skills are essential, including proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and email communication.

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Safeguarding Support Officer to join the Safeguarding Team at the Diocese of Derby. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting safeguarding activities across the Diocese, ensuring that our churches and communities remain safe places to live, worship, and work.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality administrative support for safeguarding processes, training, and meetings, including the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisory Panel (DSAP). You will also assist parishes in using the Parish Dashboard and Hubs effectively, helping them maintain compliance and best practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate safeguarding training schedules, manage bookings, and maintain accurate records.
- Process DBS applications and maintain secure records.
- Provide support and guidance to Parish Safeguarding Officers, including induction and ongoing assistance.
- Administer meetings and prepare agendas, minutes, and reports for safeguarding panels and groups.
- Maintain and update safeguarding content on the diocesan website and dashboards.
- Assist with data analysis and reporting on safeguarding activities.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in providing administrative support in a busy environment.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Able to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with data management.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and work sensitively with safeguarding issues.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of Church of England structures is desirable but not essential.
