About the Role of Senior Team Leader:

As well as providing direct care and support, the Senior is required to act as a Key Worker. About the role
You’ll share responsibility for the Finance Systems & Projects function, reporting into the Head of Finance Systems & Projects within Operations, Planning & Finance
Your focus will be to deliver system improvements, strong controls, and smooth change adoption across a global user base:
- Provide training and day to day support to Finance Systems team members, troubleshooting issues for internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee project management for new financial processes and initiatives—producing project plans, conducting research/benchmarking and analysis, managing scope and stakeholders, and tracking progress to timelines.
- Support global business users to embed new operational and financial processes, including communication, stakeholder engagement, and creating training and eLearning materials.
- Continually review finance systems, processes, and information flows to identify efficiency gains and control enhancements.
- Keep process documentation up to date and aligned with the Sightsavers Financial Framework.
- Oversee maintenance and support for accounting, procurement, expenses, banking and related financial software within a robust control framework and in line with accounting principles.
- Plan and refresh user training and information delivery so all system users have the tools and guidance needed for their role.
- Respond to escalated queries and coordinate with external stakeholders as part of training, support and monitoring activities.
- Some international travel (Africa/Asia/UK) may be required. up to approximately five weeks per year.

Skills and Experience
You’re an experienced finance or finance systems professional who combines technical depth with project delivery and clear communication.
Knowledge & experience
• Part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA) or equivalent experience; newly qualified applicants are also welcome.
• Significant experience in a finance role with a strong systems component (or extensive experience as a user); project management experience in a finance environment is desired.
• Sound understanding of accounting principles and a solid technical background.
• Advanced knowledge of mid range accounting systems and controls (ideally SUN Accounts).
• Familiarity with eProcurement and financial reporting systems (ideally Proactis).
• Advantageous: knowledge of Supplier Onboarding and Auto Invoice processing systems.
• Experience developing/managing interfaces between software systems.
• Experience within a complex international organisation and understanding of the international charity sector and regulatory environment
• Degree level education or equivalent is ideal.

Cancer Research UK are looking for a Trial Master File Document Coordinator to join our Centre for Drug Developments Clinical Study Coordinator team, reporting into the Clinical Operations Manager.
The Cancer Research UK Centre for Drug Development (CDD) is the world's only charity-funded drug development facility. Our pioneering research is driven purely by the goal to see scientific breakthroughs bring benefits to patients sooner. CDD is the sponsor of early phase and precision medicine clinical trials in oncology agents. Our broad portfolio rivals that of a medium-sized pharmaceutical company, spanning antibodies, cell therapies, vaccines, drug conjugates and small molecules, making this an interesting and dynamic area to work in.
This is a two year contract specifically to work on our DETERMINE trial, our multi-drug, precision medicine platform trial for adults and children. It’s one of the UKs leading early phase oncology trials, and the first UK national precision medicine trial in rare cancer.
In this role you will use your experience of Trial Master File Document Management to aid in the development of new cancer therapies by leading Trial Master File (TMF) activities for CDD Studies in accordance with Cancer Research UK Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies, ICH GCP guidelines, UK legislations and other regulatory requirements.
You could currently be working in a TMF role within a clinical trial environment looking to develop Trial Master File knowledge within a cause driven environment that has direct impact on patient benefit. About the Team:
Disclosure Content is responsible for the strategic development, maintenance, and delivery of CDP’s disclosure framework (question bank, reporting guidance, and scoring). The disclosure framework provides environmental information to investors, customers, and other data users, and drives companies’ actions to transition to a sustainable economy.
The Strategic Evolution team is responsible for developing CDP’s disclosure framework in response to strategic projects, standard and framework alignment, and other evolving needs of the organization. We work closely with other teams and functions across CDP to implement environmental reporting best practices and pioneer new areas of environmental disclosure.
About this role:
This role will provide technical, scientific, and analytical expertise to develop and ensure the high quality of CDP’s disclosure framework, to drive corporate environmental disclosure and action. This includes the CDP question bank, reporting guidance, scoring methodologies and resulting data.
What you will do:
- Contribute to the development of the question bank, reporting guidance, and scoring methodologies – spanning topics of climate change, land, water, ocean, plastics and circular economy. Including:

Mapping metrics from relevant sustainability standards/frameworks to CDP’s question bank.

Analyzing response data and conducting desk-based research.

Drafting and proofreading technical documents.
- Provide subject matter expertise and analytical support across CDP’s broader activities related to its question bank, guidance, and scoring methodologies, including:

Contributing to projects (e.g. funded projects, publications, consultations, engagement events etc.), in particular, the Scaling Plastics Disclosure project.

Preparing and delivering internal presentations.
- Support team processes and the delivery of outputs. Including:

Responding to technical queries on how companies should respond to questions.

Inputting and testing the question bank and guidance content in a technology platform.
