Internship Overview

Newcore Capital is offering a one-week internship in our London office for students and young people interested in real estate investment and asset management. This immersive programme is designed to provide hands-on exposure to projects, insight into our investment strategy, and the day-to-day operations of a growing capital partner, with a strong focus on responsible sustainable practices.

Interns will work alongside experienced professionals, gain insight into commercial property decision-making, and develop a practical understanding of the real estate sector—all within a focused, fast-paced week. Interns will have the opportunity to develop an understanding of sustainability practices within the built environment, including how environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations are integrated into investment and asset management decisions.

Key Responsibilities

What Interns Will Learn

During the programme, interns can expect to gain insight into:

The fundamentals of real estate investment management
How investment managers assess opportunities, including risk and return considerations
Financial analysis and investment underwriting principles
Sector research and market analysis techniques
The role of asset management in driving long-term performance
ESG and sustainability considerations in real asset investing
How investment strategies are communicated to institutional investors

Interns will also develop key professional skills, including analytical thinking, teamwork, presentation skills, and commercial awareness.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

What we’re looking for:

Strong interest in real estate, investment, finance, or the built environment
Curious, motivated individuals with a willingness to learn
Professional attitude and strong attention to detail
Ability to communicate clearly and work well in a team

Key skills:

Analytical thinking and problem-solving
Strong verbal and written communication
Basic financial or commercial awareness
Confidence using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (desirable, not essential)
