Shift Patterns
This is a 24 hour service, therefore flexibility is essential. You will be working a range of shifts from 7:00/8:00 am to 2:30/3:30 pm or 12:00 pm to 7:30 pm, occasional waking nights and some weekends.

Who will I be supporting?
2 gentlemen with learning disabilities in their 50s and 60s in supported living
They enjoy arts and crafts, trips to the museum, hitting the gym going to the cinema and theatres. They enjoy going to places of interest in the local and wider community, going for walks and watching sports.
What will I be doing?
You will be supporting them to live their lives how they choose, to be themselves, and to achieve their goals
You will be supporting with personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, budgeting, cooking, cleaning and laundry.
What shifts are available?
Long Day Sleep ins: 7am/9am - 10am the following day (£45 sleep-in shift included)
Sleep in shifts cover hours between: 11pm -7am
Additional 1:1 shifts throughout the week
Rotas are provided 4 weeks in advance.

About the Role

We are looking for a caring and proactive Support Worker to provide 1:1 support to a young man who is building his independence and enjoys an active, social lifestyle. He lives in a relaxed home with a small garden and free parking in a quiet cul-de-sac.
Your role will include:
- Encouraging independence with daily tasks such as washing up and changing bed sheets.
- Supporting hobbies and interests like cinema trips, meals out, bowling, and swimming (you’ll join him in the water for swim sessions).
- Helping maintain relationships with family and friends.
- Providing light personal care, including prompting after bathing, assisting with creams and inhalers, and preparing meals.
Shifts are on a rota basis, typically 7:30am – 10:00pm with sleep-ins, including alternate weekends and bank holidays. A full UK/EU driving licence and access to a car is preferred but not essential.

About the Role

We support a fantastic gentleman with a brain injury and cerebral palsy. He uses a wheelchair but can crouch, and he communicates verbally with a little extra help from pictures.
