Regional Lead – Children’s Homes

We are looking for an experienced, values-led Regional Lead to provide strategic leadership and regulatory oversight across our children’s residential homes. This role holds Responsible Individual status with Ofsted and carries overall accountability for compliance, quality and safeguarding across services.
About the role
This is a key senior leadership role within our Children and Young People Division. You will hold overall accountability for the quality, safety and regulatory compliance of our children’s homes, supporting around 28 children and young people aged 9–18 with learning disabilities and/or autism.
Working closely with Registered Managers and senior colleagues, you will ensure our homes are safe, nurturing places where children are listened to, respected and supported to thrive. You will act as the Responsible / Registered Individual with Ofsted, providing leadership before, during and after inspections and driving continuous improvement across services.
You will be visible across homes, build strong relationships with teams, and play an active role in shaping the future of MacIntyre’s children’s residential services as we grow.

You will understand what great children’s residential care looks like in practice and be able to balance strong regulatory oversight with warmth, curiosity and values-led leadership.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has significant experience as a Registered Manager, with evidence of Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes
- Has a strong understanding of children’s residential legislation, safeguarding and quality standards
- Has experience working at a senior level across services or multiple homes
- Can lead, support and challenge Registered Managers to continuously improve practice
- Is confident working with Ofsted inspectors, commissioners and external partners
- Shares MacIntyre’s commitment to children’s rights, voice and wellbeing
- A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is essential.

The role is working to enhance the heart of World Vision Child Sponsorship – connection. By working collaboratively and creatively, you will design and enable safe, meaningful, and joyful experiences that deepen the emotional bond between children and their sponsors.
Working in close partnership with Field Offices (FO), Support Offices (SO), content creators, IT specialists, and child protection leads, this role helps shape multi-format experiences, including photos, videos, voice messages, digital interactions, and games that go beyond traditional letter writing.
The role relies on cross-functional collaboration to test, adapt, and implement these experiences at scale. It brings together diverse perspectives from across the partnership to ensure that innovations are context-sensitive and aligned with both child and sponsor needs.
Ultimately, this role contributes to increasing sponsor satisfaction, boosting Net Promoter Scores (NPS), and improving sponsor retention by fostering interactions that feel personal, heartfelt, and trustworthy—while safeguarding the dignity and well-being of every child.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Stakeholder Collaboration
Collaborate and influence with Field and Support Offices, and WVI Sponsorship colleagues to pilot and implement new, safe interaction types.
Design and Execution
Design and test safe, innovative child-sponsor connection experiences based on field insights, behavioural data, and sponsor expectations.
Virtual Field Experiences (VFEs)
Support Virtual Field Visits and digital event coordination to provide immersive and safe sponsor experiences.
Best Practice Scaling
Develop and maintain best practice guidelines for safe, meaningful child-sponsor connections.
Reporting and Evaluation
Evaluate sponsor satisfaction and child feedback to continuously improve interaction formats.
Safeguarding
Coordinate safe delivery of standard sponsorship products (e.g., letters, photos, videos) per SO requirements.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in communications, human-centered design, behavioural science, or related field (Master’s preferred).

Minimum 5 years in customer experience design, digital engagement, or human connection design, ideally in a nonprofit or mission-driven setting.

Essential requirements for the role

With excellent communication skills and an understanding of animal behaviour, you will be skilled at teaching and demonstrating training techniques and advising our teams and pet owners on behaviour issues. In addition, you will thrive working collaboratively with others and have a desire to improve the experience of the pets in our care.
Knowledge, skills, and experience
Demonstrable experience of:
- Pet behaviour and training techniques, and evidence of success in understanding pet behaviour /training problems
- Carrying out behaviour and training programmes for dogs, across a variety of breeds and temperaments
- Developing training programmes and delivering to owners / caregivers that are practical and realistic for a pet owner
- Full UK driving licence
- The ability to demonstrate, understand and apply our Blue Cross values

About the Role
You will work closely with diocesan colleagues, churches, and schools to strengthen engagement and discipleship opportunities for children and young people. Your key responsibilities will include:

About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
• A communicant member of the Church of England (or a church in communion with it, or a member Church of Churches Together in England, the Council of Churches for Britain and Ireland, or the Evangelical Alliance)
• Experienced in children’s, youth, or schools-based ministry, with relevant qualifications or equivalent experience
• Confident in training, advising, and supporting adults in ministry and volunteer roles
• Relational, collaborative, and able to build strong partnerships across diverse contexts
• Organised, adaptable, and creative in approach
• A confident communicator with children, young people, and adult leaders

The Diocese of Rochester is seeking a Children & Young People Schools Engagement Adviser to play a vital role in developing meaningful connections between local parish churches and school communities. Working as part of the Children, Young People and Families team, you will help shape a holistic approach to discipleship, chaplaincy, pastoral care, and faith formation for children and young people across the Diocese.

About the Role
You will work closely with diocesan colleagues, churches, and schools to strengthen engagement and discipleship opportunities for children and young people. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Supporting churches to develop effective partnerships with schools that enable spiritual encounter, pastoral care, and discipleship
• Equipping leaders and volunteers to initiate and sustain missional engagement with schools
• Facilitating collaboration between church, school, and home to support holistic faith formation
• Developing and sharing resources, training, and good practice across the Diocese
• Supporting diocesan and local events, including chaplaincy initiatives and youth leadership opportunities
• Promoting and contributing to the CYPF Enhanced Learning Pathway (Catalyst)
• Building strategic partnerships with diocesan, national, and external organisations
• Providing pastoral support and modelling safeguarding best practice
• Representing the Diocese within national networks where appropriate
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
• A communicant member of the Church of England (or a church in communion with it, or a member Church of Churches Together in England, the Council of Churches for Britain and Ireland, or the Evangelical Alliance)
• Experienced in children’s, youth, or schools-based ministry, with relevant qualifications or equivalent experience
• Confident in training, advising, and supporting adults in ministry and volunteer roles
• Relational, collaborative, and able to build strong partnerships across diverse contexts
• Organised, adaptable, and creative in approach
• A confident communicator with children, young people, and adult leaders

We are looking for a Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner for our Pelsall Village Nursery where we offer childcare places for up to approximately 45 children.
Responsibilities for the role of a Nursery Practitioner include but aren’t limited to:
- Contributing to promoting good practice and maintaining a high-quality provision
- Completing observations, planning, and prepare a variety of learning enriched activities for your key group using the Early Years Foundation Stage
