We are looking for someone who can work between 10am and 2pm on a Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday, though we can be flexible for the right candidate.
This opportunity is based at Butterfly House and is a wonderful way to show off your catering skills or you can just help with serving the food and talking to customers or helping with the washing up. You will be part of a small team providing simple refreshments to our patients, staff, volunteers, and the local community. This is a fantastic opportunity to help patients through the preparation of healthy food and to encourage the local community to visit and learn about the work that we do.
You can help us by: -
- Preparing and serving simple meals
- Ensuring that the kitchen is clean and safe for food preparation
- Take payments and operate the till
- Clean and leave the kitchen ready for the next day

South Bucks Hospice will take up two references for successful candidates and undertake a DBS criminal records check.
We are looking for people to support the hospice by driving one of our vans to collect donations for our charity shops. This is a great opportunity to make new friends, learn new skills and have fun whilst supporting South Bucks Hospice and helping us to keep our services free for patients with a life limiting illness.
Shifts can be for as little as three hours, but if you are having fun you can always do more.
As one of our amazing Van Driver Volunteers you will be part of a small team and support the hospice by: -
- Collecting donations for sale
- Loading them into the van
- Delivering them to the appropriate shop or to the hospice
- Being an ambassador for South Bucks Hospice
Skills required:-
- Full clean driving licence held for at least 5 years
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work on your own initiative
- Good communication skills
- Reliable with good organisational skills
- Aged between 25 and 70 (due to insurance)

As one of our amazing Retail Volunteers you will be part of a small team and support the shop by:
- Accepting, sorting and preparing donations for sale
- Encouraging people to sign up for Gift Aid
- Helping with customer queries
- Serving customers at the till
- Helping us to keep the shop tidy and presentable for customers
- Promoting and selling hospice lottery tickets
- Being an ambassador for South Bucks Hospice.
