Estates Assistant
St. Edmund’s School is looking to appoint an Estates Assistant as soon as possible to provide an effective estates service and to assist the Estates Manager in the smooth running of the School’s operations 52 weeks of the year. We will consider either a full-time or part-time position for the right candidate.
The Estates Assistant will join a highly motivated and task-oriented Estates Team, ably led by the school’s Estates Manager. The individual will need to share this same commitment and focus, striving, in all assigned duties, to complete them to a high standard and in the timeframe required.
Main duties:
- Painting and decorating
- General repairs
- Grounds maintenance
- Security
- Minibus driving
- Caretaking
- Assist with setting up of school events e.g. Parents Evenings, Open Mornings
Person Specification:
- A team player with a calm and confident manner
- Courteous and professional
- A strong, committed and focussed work ethic
- Able to set high standards and work to these at all times
- Demonstrate integrity, honesty, loyalty and reliability
- Possess diplomacy, discretion, patience and humour
- Clean driving licence with category D1 entitlement preferred

Sports Coach
St. Edmund's are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, energetic and experienced Sports Coach to join our dynamic Sports Department. You must have experience coaching at least one of our core sports (rugby, football, netball, hockey and cricket) to pupils from Years 5 to Year 11.
Candidates will be required to work Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons during term time. There may be scope to increase these hours.
