Safeguarding caseworker administrator, part-time

The Portsmouth Diocesan Board of Finance is seeking a highly organised and professional Safeguarding Caseworker Administrator to join our dedicated Safeguarding Team.

This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in supporting safeguarding activity across the Diocese of Portsmouth, helping to ensure that children, young people and vulnerable adults are protected and supported.

Working as part of a busy and professional team, you will coordinate a wide range of safeguarding administration, maintain sensitive records, support meetings and training events, assist with safeguarding communications, and help monitor safeguarding activity across the Diocese.

About the role

This is a varied and pivotal position requiring excellent organisational skills, discretion, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. You will work closely with safeguarding professionals and diocesan colleagues, helping to ensure that safeguarding processes are effective, efficient and responsive.

Desirable experience: Experience supporting safeguarding, compliance or casework functions would be advantageous, as would knowledge of safeguarding within a charitable, faith-based or Church of England setting.
