As an NHS Administration Assistant at our Brentwood Hospital, you’re able to manage, appraise and interpret the data. What’s more, you know how to present this in a timely and professional manner. Ideally, you have an NVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration or equivalent, but this isn’t essential.
As an NHS Administration Assistant, you will:
- Processing Outsourcing Referrals using MDS
- Full responsibility of NHS Activity Tracker and submission
- Monitoring and Booking Appointments in to XX and other NHS Clinics
- Liaising with Consultants and Secretaries
- Dealing with Patients and Customers Queries
- Monitoring Monthly NHS RTT and DM01 reporting to deadlines
- Submitting NHS Activity Data via DSCRO
- Dealing with NHS Billing and Coding Queries
- Authorising Patient Treatment with CSU’s if required
- Processing NHS bookings
- Analysing and rectifying data quality errors
- Providing Activity levels by Service to the senior leadership team
- Put your strong IT and keyboard skills to work; advanced excel experience is essential
- Maintain databases
