We are looking for a Facilities Coordinator to join our team. The role is full time and permanent (36 hours per week).

This role is a hybrid based role meaning you'll be homeworking or based at one our sites along or adjacent to Hadrian's Wall on a hybrid pattern. You will be required to attend sites on a frequent basis. This will be discussed further at interview.

As Facilities Coordinator you will be working on English Heritage sites along and close to the UNESCO World Heritage designation of Hadrian's Wall including (but not exclusively) the Roman forts of Chesters, Housesteads and Birdoswald, the Roman town of Corbridge, and the nearby medieval sites of Aydon Castle, Lanercost Priory and Carlisle Castle. Each site has a mix of historic ruins and standing structures, museums buildings, and modern visitor facilities, all of which require complex and specialist Mechanical & Electrical, Wastewater Treatment, buildings and grounds maintenance.

To be considered as a Facilities Coordinator, you will be able to demonstrate the following:

- Minimum HND or NVQ Level 3 qualification in Facilities Management and/or relevant experience.

- Working knowledge of current legislation and regulations covering an extensive range of mechanical and electrical systems, including fire safety/firefighting equipment, gas safety, pressure systems, legionella controls, security systems, Health and Safety at Work regulations, and other relevant statutory regulations and byelaws.

- Experience in administrating Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) or Building & Civil Engineering suppliers and contractors.

- Experience of working in an environment with conflicting priorities.

- Experience of preparing schedules and specifications for M&E installations, preparing works instructions.
