As our Talent acquisition administrator, you’ll support the volunteer recruitment journey — from advertising roles, reviewing the best advertising platforms and supporting hiring managers with scheduling interviews, providing the best candidate experience.

You'll be a key point of contact for candidates, hiring managers and volunteers, ensuring a positive and inclusive experience at every step. You’ll help make sure our processes are efficient, fair. This role is a 9 month fixed term contract based in Selly Oak, Birmingham on a hybrid basis 2/3 days per week.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing recruitment administration for volunteers — adverts, interviews, candidate communication
  • Ensuring a smooth, supportive and accessible recruitment experience
  • Maintaining accurate recruitment data in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Providing information to support smooth onboarding and offer processes
  • Ensuring compliance in line with GDPR standards
  • Supporting hiring managers and contributing to recruitment reporting and improvement

What we’re looking for

  • Proven administrative experience in a busy environment
  • Experience with recruitment processes or volunteer recruitment
  • Confident with IT systems (Word, Excel, Outlook; ATS experience desirable)
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organisation and time-management skills
  • Commitment to confidentiality, equality, diversity and inclusion
  • Passion for Sense’s values and willingness to learn about supporting people with complex communication needs
