Criminal Justice Team Manager

DERBYSHIRE RECOVERY PARTNERSHIP DRUG AND ALCOHOL SERVICE

 

Phoenix Futures is looking to recruit a passionate and solution focussed Team Manager for the county wide Criminal Justice team within our Derbyshire Recovery Partnership community drug and alcohol service.

The Role

This role is Monday-Friday 37.5 hours per week on a permanent contract, working across the Derbyshire county. Salary is £27,000; increments subject to appraisal.

As a Team Manager within our Derbyshire service you will passionately lead and drive the Criminal Justice team of 1 administrator and 10 key workers who co-ordinate care and deliver 121 and groups focused on psychosocial and harm reduction interventions to people who use our service thar are involved with the Criminal Justice System. Our Criminal Justice specialist team has a significantly reduced caseload which enables them to complete focused criminality and behaviour change work with people on their caseload, and be responsive to need by conducting community outreach and prison in-reach, as required. You will be confident in building and maintaining relationships with internal and external partnership agencies, promoting the service and its outcomes to commissioners and stakeholders. You will be highly motivated and innovative with team and service development, ensuring high ethical and professional standards of care and practice are met. You will have a keen eye for detail with data and performance monitoring.

This management role is unique with its criminal justice focus and county wide approach. There is plenty of management and criminal justice training involved with this role.

About You

As an individual, we are looking for someone with previous experience within the field of substance use, is self-motivated, can work on their own initiative, but more importantly as part of a team and possess good leadership, communication and organisational skills. The ideal candidate will be confident, dynamic and forward thinking, have experience of line management, safeguarding, partnership working and working with people presenting with substance, alcohol and associated issues, and have a keen understanding of recovery.
