The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) is looking for a meticulous and highly organised Clinical Examinations Quality Administrator to join our Theory and Standards team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on managing complex written materials, coordinating subject experts, and ensuring that assessments are accurate, high-quality, and delivered on time.

The Theory and Standards team develop, deliver and quality assure the theory examinations and assessments run by the College. Within this, the Quality Assurance team plays a vital role in developing and reviewing questions and scenarios for our MRCPCH and RCPCH Start assessments. This role focuses on the clinical examinations element - ensuring that every scenario used is reliable, fair, and mapped correctly to our syllabus and learning outcomes.

As Clinical Examinations Quality Administrator, you’ll take responsibility for managing and maintaining the MRCPCH Clinical Examinations scenario bank, creating and reviewing scenario sets, and coordinating the scenario generation and review process. You’ll also work closely with clinicians and other subject matter experts to support the development of high-quality examination materials.

We are seeking a detail-focused professional with excellent communication and organisational skills. You’ll need to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and consistency. You’ll be comfortable working independently, following set procedures, and collaborating effectively across teams and with external stakeholders.

Essential skills and experience include:
• Experience managing high volumes of written material accurately and consistently
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet multiple deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other Office applications
• Ability to find pragmatic solutions and adapt to change

Desirable:
• Experience administering examinations or assessments
• Experience working in a membership or professional body environment
• Educated to A-Level or equivalent relevant experience
