Role Overview:
The successful candidate will provide analytical support to the analysis team and will be primarily focused on Academy and county age group games. This focus will include the capturing of match footage and then reviewing the data and producing reports at the request of the coaches. They will also get the chance to work directly with the first team during busy periods of the summer, helping code matches and working with the head of analysis and 1st team analyst to produce data that gives the professional teams a competitive advantage
Responsibilities:
- Setting up camera kit and coding the match using PCS pro at home Academy, U18 and U16s fixtures.
- Make available any video or other analytical info from these games to the relevant coaching staff.
- Take an active role in the coding of 1st team fixtures particularly during busy periods and during The Hundred.
- Provide support to head of analysis and 1st team analyst around pre-match packs and in game reporting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience of using PCS pro or other coding software is desirable
- Previous experience using IP cameras or similar is also desirable but not essential
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Strong data analysis skills
- Flexibility in working hours to fit around a professional sporting environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Full UK Driving License.
- Previous experience using Tableau or similar data visualization tools is desirable but not essential.
