Clinical Operations Manager

We are looking for a highly motivated Clinical Operations Manager responsible for the successful day-to-day operations in the Queen Mother Hospital for Animals. This is a key leadership role where you will provide strategic direction and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure that the QMHA performs to the highest possible clinical and professional standards in line with RVC/Clinical Services mission statement and values, meeting all regulatory requirements and relevant accreditation standards.
Key requirements include the ability to manage budgets and resources, ensure high-quality, patient-centered care working with all services, estates and the QMHA management team. The role requires excellent customer service, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage clinical based hospital projects to ensure operational delivery and compliance with project timelines.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, finance and estates to ensure compliance
- Drive operational efficiency and implement solutions to challenges in conjunction with clinical and managerial colleagues.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively
- Lead in Health and Safety compliance
- Active member of the Clinical Governance Team
- Active member of Infection Prevention and Control
- Lead in veterinary sustainability
The successful candidate will require strong leadership and communication skills, financial and project management abilities, and experience with operational planning and problem-solving.
