We are looking for a motivated and community-focused Small Groups Development Worker to join our Better Together Service. This is an exciting role supporting local volunteers and community groups to grow, thrive, and deliver vital health and wellbeing activities across South Leeds.

If you’re passionate about empowering people, building community connections, and helping local groups access the support and skills they need, we’d love to hear from you.

In this role, you will support and train volunteers who run small community health and wellbeing groups. You will build networks that bring groups together to share ideas, resources and peer support. You will advise local people wanting to start new community groups, share information about funding opportunities, and help groups strengthen their capacity.

The successful candidate will enjoy working with people and building relationships. They will have experience supporting volunteers or community groups, be well organised, proactive and able to manage their workload independently. They will have excellent communication skills, be adaptable to the needs of diverse communities, and be passionate about community development and reducing health inequalities.
