We are seeking a dedicated Head of Care (Children and Families) and Joint Registered Manager at Cotswold Chine School to work with members of the senior management team to contribute to the planning, delivery and review of the care provision at Cotswold Chine School. This is a unique opportunity to lead high-quality, person-centred care across a well-established setting.
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible to fulfil the duties and responsibilities of Joint Registered Manager with overall responsibility for all staff and care practice issues.
Main Responsibilities for this role:
- Ensuring the home is run so that children’s welfare is promoted and safeguarded.
- Ensuring each child’s needs (including those from disability) are met, and that the statement of purpose is followed.
- Engaging with families, placing authorities, external stakeholders to support children’s outcomes.
- Monitoring and oversight of children’s progress, outcomes and experiences.
- Carrying out all duties and responsibilities of a Joint Registered Manager as required to meet the Care Standards Act 2000, Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and the ‘Guide to the Children’s Homes Regulations including the Quality Standards’ (as amended from time to time).
- Ensuring systems and supporting paperwork is compliant and in place for inspection purposes.
- Attend multi-disciplinary meetings including Admissions, Support, Advice and Strategy, Complex Needs, Senior Management and HR meetings.
- Ensuring that compliant policies are in place in respect of the care provision and that they are monitored and revised as appropriate.
- Acting as deputy safeguarding officer, supporting the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) (Care) and maintaining safeguarding files.

Clinical and Therapy Assistant

The Clinical and Therapy Assistant position is based at Cotswold Chine School and the surrounding homes, and works as part of a well-established, multi-disciplinary therapy team, supporting within the different settings across the charity, such as within the education, therapy and residential care settings.
Responsibilities for this role:
- Supporting children in their therapy goals and taking part in group sessions.
- Following skills and therapy programmes as directed and devised by the therapist.
- Assisting with the implementation of identified, individual strategies in workshops to support development.

Education Administrator

The Role
We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Education Administrator to join our team. This pivotal role supports the Senior Leadership Team across both Education and Boarding provisions, ensuring smooth and efficient administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise professionally with parents, carers, and external professionals
- Arrange and coordinate review meetings
- Maintain and update trackers and records
- Attend meetings and produce accurate minutes
- Support staff supervisions and compile reports
- Prepare and distribute letters and information to parents
- Manage data entry and maintain compliance evidence for inspections
- Provide word processing, filing, and reception cover as required

Novalis Trust offers a unique, caring and nurturing environment that is both therapeutic and educational for young people and adults set in beautiful surroundings at Cotswold Chine School (Minchinhampton), William Morris School (Eastington) and Paradise House (Painswick), with the Head Office based in Ebley, Stroud.
The IT Technician position has a workload consisting of technical systems administration duties and end-user support working alongside an existing team and the IT Services Manager. Most work will remain office based either at the Trust’s headquarters or its other sites as needed.
This role is an excellent opportunity for a candidate just leaving full time education studying an IT related qualification and starting a career in IT. You will be guided into the role using the technologies and tools in use at the Trust by the existing team, but a fundamental understanding and good knowledge of concepts will be required.
Responsibilities for this role:
- Act as first-line support for end users, troubleshooting IT faults and ensuring all requests are logged.
- Travel to local schools to provide occasional onsite support where required.
- Act upon requests/reports to solve unexpected IT problems and ensure all requests are logged.
- Provide support to IT users, including provision of technical classroom support including providing IT training for school staff.
- Take responsibility for the maintenance of computer software and hardware and liaise with IT equipment suppliers and visiting engineers as appropriate.
- Liaising with students and parents who require support in accessing and using appropriate school systems.
- Undertake first/second line maintenance.
- Administer accounts, email and user groups ensuring these are secure and up to date.
- Provide advice and support to members of the teaching staff regarding the use of IT equipment.
