    NEBOSH’s Ethical Practice team plays a critical role in protecting the integrity of our qualifications and assessments by carrying out activities to detect and deter malpractice.

    We are currently looking for a Team Leader to join our administration team and help us protect the integrity of NEBOSH’s qualifications by detecting, investigating, and deterring malpractice.

    The role:

    The

    Team Leader (Ethical Practice Admin)is pivotal in supporting the Head of Ethical Practice by leading the Ethical Practice Administration Team and ensuring the team have the relevant knowledge and understanding to complete their daily tasks and responsibilities on time and to the highest quality.

    This role is essential in ensuring that the Ethical Practice administration team complete investigation support tasks accurately and to service standards. The role-holder will train others, as well as being a decision-maker for customer requests and the final point of escalation within the administration team. They will also work closely with the Manager of the Ethical Practice investigatory team to ensure a joined-up approach to investigation processes.

    The Team Leader (Ethical Practice Admin) will possess detailed knowledge of NEBOSH products and processes and be an expert in Ethical Practice processes. They will have excellent attention to detail and the ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment.

    The role-holder will have a good eye for systems and processes. They will work with the Head of Ethical Practice and create a culture to enable their team to contribute ideas and suggestions for improvements and efficiencies, whilst working collaboratively to deliver these.

    The role-holder will be people and customer focussed and will lead by example across the administration team’s portfolio of work. They will have the skills required to build trust with team members and encourage a positive team culture.

    Key accountabilities include:
    • Building and management of a strong team through recruitment, training, 121’s and PDR’s.
    • Leading by example across the Ethical Practice administration team’s portfolio of work.
    • Creating individual training and development plans and making sure they are progressed.
    • Carrying out performance and absence management.
    • Managing the administration team’s daily work/tasks, and monitoring progress to ensure that tasks are completed to agreed targets and standards.
    • Assisting the Head of Ethical Practice/Director of Learning Partner Quality with the completion of monthly KPI reports/metrics.
    • Working with the Ethical Practice investigatory team to ensure reviews are allocated and returned in a timely manner.
    • Investigating quality issues in the administration team and implementing corrective actions.
    • Acting as a decision-maker for customer requests, including those relating to closing interviews and professional discussions.
    • Providing expert input into the development and monitoring o ethical practice dashboards.
    • Ensuring any requests for representation at cross-department meetings are met.

    • Experience in working as a role model who leads by example and provides support and coaching to team members.
    • Proven experience of training others and identifying areas for development, with the ability to give both positive and constructive feedback.
    • Ability to motivate direct reports and team members
    • Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships both internally and externally.
    • In-depth knowledge of NEBOSH’s processes and products, and mastery of Ethical Practice team processes (or ability to gain this within the probationary period).
    • Proven ability to use initiative and work without supervision.
    • Proven track-record in an administration role with supervisory experience.
    • Experience in investigation support work or a cognate area.
    • Experience of producing formal communications.
    • Able to interrogate processes and identify improvements and efficiencies.
    Working week:
    35 hours Monday – FridayWork base:

    NEBOSH’s office in Leicestershire with opportunities for hybrid working subject to business needs.

    Salary:

    Up to £37,492.88 per annum.
