We’re looking for a confident, friendly, and reliable individual to join our team as a Lifeguard & Front of House Assistant. This is a dual role where you’ll play a key part in keeping our customers safe in the pool while also providing a warm, professional welcome at reception.

You’ll be someone who takes pride in great customer service, enjoys being part of a team, and can remain calm and focused under pressure. Whether you’re ensuring safety on poolside or helping customers at the front desk, you’ll be an essential part of creating a positive experience for everyone who visits our centre.

As a Lifeguard:

• Provide safe supervision of customers in the pool area.

• Prevent accidents and respond quickly and effectively to emergencies.

• Perform rescues and deliver first aid when required.

• Ensure poolside areas are clean, safe, and well-presented.

• Promote safe and enjoyable use of our facilities.

As a Front of House Assistant:

• Welcome customers to the centre and provide helpful information about our services and activities.

• Handle bookings, memberships, and general enquiries efficiently.

• Process payments accurately and maintain excellent customer service standards.

• Keep reception and communal areas clean and presentable.

• Support the team with general day-to-day operations.

• National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)or the ability to successfully complete the course (training may be provided).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• A friendly, approachable, and proactive attitude.

• Ability to remain calm, professional, and focused under pressure.

• Experience in a customer-facing environment is desirable, but not essential.
